The Hans Foundation USA has granted $1,227,000 to the Alzheimer’s Caregivers Association, a new non-profit organization that provides resources and information to family caregivers of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Nearly six million people in the United States are living with Alzheimer’s disease, the majority of which are being looked after by untrained family members. The Alzheimer’s Caregivers Association offers resources for caregivers to provide the highest level of care possible to their loved ones while also protecting themselves against burnout.
